Coordinates of the SIRGAS-CON reference stations

The following coordinates are generated within the routine processing of the SIRGAS-CON network:

  • Loosely constrained weekly solutions in SINEX format (or normal equations) for later computations, i.e. combination within the IGS polyhedron, determination of multi-year solutions, etc.
  • Weekly station positions aligned to the same reference frame applied by the IGS (International GNSS Service) to generate the final GNSS satellite orbits. These coordinates serve as reference values for surveying in the Americas and the Caribbean.
  • Multi-year solutions (coordinates + velocities) for those applications requiring time depending positioning.

The SIRGAS-CON coordinates are available at ftp.sirgas.org. This server is maintained and managed by the IGS Regional Network Associate Analysis Centre for SIRGAS (IGS RNAAC SIRGAS).

If you cannot access the SIRGAS FTP server using your Internet Browser, please access ftp.sirgas.org using an FTP client (such as Filezilla, WinSCP, SmartFTP, Cyberduck, Commander One, AndFTP, FTPClient) or using Windows File Explorer (read instructions).
