Registration for the SIRGAS 2024 Symposium

Attendees

Those interested in attending the event must register in the following registration form, before October 15, 2024.

Economical support

The Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH) has always collaborated with the Geodetic Reference System for the Americas (SIRGAS).

Thanks to them, on this occasion the event organization has the possibility of supporting those participants who make a presentation of at least 20 minutes.

This small support will be analyzed by the Board of Directors for its viability, which must be submitted along with the registration form and the application form for financial support, sending a title and summary to be presented of no more than 2000 characters.

Those speakers over 35 years of age will be considered, and those under 35 years of age are encouraged to apply for the “IAG Travel Award” and make arrangements with the International Association of Geodesy (IAG).

It is recalled that registration to the Symposium is free of charge with the understanding that the attendance of the participants will incur travel and lodging expenses.

Speakers

Applications for presentations will be made by sending an abstract of no more than 2000 characters through the exhibitor form and must be submitted before September 30, 2024.

. It must be framed in the thematic axes of the event program and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the Executive of SIRGAS. The presentation modalities will be the following:

-Keynote Conference: Presentation lasting 30 minutes or more.

-Presentations: These are oral presentations lasting 20 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.

-Posters/Banners: Detailed instructions on the formatting needed to create posters or banners, including precise measurements and corresponding logos, will be available for DOWNLOAD.
